There's nothing to build, flash or configure. In the box is a finished device: plug it into the screen's HDMI port, and the app takes it from there.

Everything but the screen.

The memory card is sealed inside the unit; there is nothing to fit or flash. Every unit ships with an HDMI cable, because the poster's micro-HDMI socket is not one most homes have a spare cable for.

Done properly

Where the art comes from.

You choose the films; the real one-sheets come through TMDB, the database behind the apps you already use. Trailers play through YouTube's official player, exactly as published.

Trailers are never copied or downloaded; they stream from YouTube's own player, and if one can't play, the artwork simply stays on screen. Poster art comes through TMDB and is kept on the poster so it keeps showing without the internet, refreshed within TMDB's terms. Built this way from day one, not patched later.
